Frank Bartleman said, “The depth of your repentance will determine the depth of your revival.” The Lord would say to HIS people… Rend Your Heart Even now,” declares the Lord, RETURN TO ME with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning… Let the priests, who minister before the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar… (Joel 2:10-12, 17). God is merciful and is abundant in loving-kindness He will not reject a heart of contrition (Psalms 51:17). WE CANNOT CHOOSE COVER-UP OVER REPENTANCE. Unless the Lord engrave ICHABOD (departing glory, without glory) over the doorpost of our churches.
We must understand that this is a spiritual battle, not a personal one. Satan does not want our churches, he wants the region. The enemy destroys and dismantles local churches so He can set up residence over regions and territories (Matthew 8:28-31). The sovereign Lord wants a HOUSE OF PRAYER, a place where HE CAN DWELL. But many spiritual leaders are turning their churches into spiritual ATMs to build their Kingdoms, feed themselves, and support their agendas; They are starving the sheep to death.
In Matthew 21:12-13, we see Jesus’ righteous indignation. It says, “Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those selling doves. And He declared to them, “It is written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer.’ But you are making it ‘a den of thieves.” In addition, we cannot make preference over those who have money and those that don’t. James 2:1,4 says, “…Practice your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ by not favoring one person over another… Aren’t you discriminating against people and using a corrupt standing to make judgements…”
Biblically I understand that prophets come on the scene when it is time to tear down, build up a work or establish a new system. We see that depicted in the life of Elijah, Samuel, and Jesus. God is committed in BUILDING UP HIS CHURCH. A Prophet’s message is a message of HOPE, the Holy Spirit corrects so that we can fulfill a divine purpose, repent, and not be DESTROYED OR DECEIVED by the enemy. 1 Corinthians 14:3 says, “But the one who prophesies speaks edification, exhortation, and consolation.” This scripture clarifies that the one who foretells events, speaks under divine inspiration, and exercises the prophetic office does to build up, bring correction, urge to action, and comfort not to destroy. It is not a title but a function to bring God’s people to a place of maturity (Ephesians 4:12-13). It is imperative to understand that we are NOW THE SONS OF GOD AND NO LONGER ORPHANS.
A NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET IS FOR CONFIRMATION MORE THAN IT IS FOR INFORMATION. Therefore, trust the voice of the Holy Spirit and your discernment. Don’t let people talk you out of what you know is true! The spirit roaming the land is trying to silence the voice of the prophets. In 2018 I had a demonic visitation from a woman dressed as a physician with a surgical mask (Corona Virus) on her face. I asked the Lord, “Was she trying to kill me? He said no, “She was trying to silence your voice.”
The Political and Religious spirits of this age are roaming the earth, especially in the American churches. Their assignment is to, “With surgical precision try to shut the mouths of the prophets.” Amos 3:7 says,” Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” I also had a dream where the church I was preaching at broke out in revival and the sovereign spirit of the Living God consumed the atmosphere. In an instant Communist soldiers started storming the church, which is what we are experiencing right now. THE OPPOSITE OF COMMUNISM IS FREEDOM AND LIBERTY IN CHRIST (2 Corinthians 3:17), The message was THE COMING SHIFT, Are you really a Christian?
The Christian church is in a season of divine separation; wheat from tare, left from right, and goats from the sheep.” it is also important we understand there is an insurgence of SELF-SERVING CHRISTIANS that have a form of Godliness. They say they are Christians but abide by false ideologies and doctrines. They are BOUND by a spirit of OFFENSE AND A FALSE SENSE OF POWER AND ENTITLEMENT. This spirit is assaulting the church. If we don’t comply then we are excused and silenced. Trust your discernment do not be moved by your emotions.
DO NOT GET OFFENDED! Jesus said in Matthew 24:12, “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of many will grow cold.” But Psalms 92 assures us that when the WICKED spring up it is so they can be DESTROYED forever but a fresh ANOINTING is being released for His people, the wicked will be destroyed, the righteous will FLOURISH, and you will be PLANTED (Psalms 92:6-15). In sending out His Disciples Jesus said, “Behold I send your forth as sheep in the midst of wolves be ye therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” (Matthew 10:16)
The Sovereign God is the only one with TRUE POWER! 2 Chronicles 14:11 says, “…Lord there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty…” We remind God of His exclusive responsibility to protect his people. This is not a call to anarchy but Holiness, Righteousness, and Obedience.
