This was a dream I had on June 18, 2008, about a pastor I was serving. I believe it is applicable today. Being a prophet is not an easy assignment, but it is crucial to the Body of Christ now more than ever. I encourage you to stand firm. The enemy is going around as a roaring lion seeking whom He may devour (I Peter 5:8); this is His main assignment. He desires to destroy the saints, cripple the pastors and silence the prophets.
In the dream, I was protecting you and knew I was guarding you, but you did not know it. Everywhere we went, I kept seeing a man lurking in the background. I never saw this man face to face but only saw his reflection. I was leery about why he was following us but kept brushing it off. You finished a task that I cannot clearly define; only you knew. Once that was done, the man surfaced and came to me and said, “That’s what I was waiting for, can you call my boss and tell him I completed my mission.” Temptation is a death sentence, and the enemy is waiting for an opening. Job 1:7-8 says, "And Jehovah said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered Jehovah, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it…"
I gave the Pastor a piece of paper with a number on it, and he began to cross out certain numbers and leave others. I don’t recall ever calling the man’s boss, but I knew it was strange and felt alarmed that I showed him the paper and felt I should not have done that. As the dream progressed, we were in a room that was dimly lit, and you were sitting on the edge of a bed with a towel wrapped around your lower body, only your upper torso was exposed. The enemy craves darkness, that is why hidden things are his obsession.
You were heavily engrossed in a conversation with another person that I perceived but could not clearly discern who it was. You were distracted. The man who was following us suddenly came into the room with a towel wrapped around his lower body and his torso exposed just like yours. The enemy was mimicking you. I thought he was coming to take a shower, too.
I was alarmed, but you weren’t and never even questioned why he was in the room. I watched as the man went in and out of the bathroom and continued to lurk around. Finally, with no warning, he rushed you and stabbed you twice in the upper right flank. When I saw the knife, I clearly could see it was profoundly rounded, not sharp but blunt. A blunt knife is more dangerous than a sharp one. At that moment, I knew the liver (vital organ) was damaged, and without intervention, death was imminent. The interesting thing is that my son had a similar dream the night before.
The enemy has been on your trail, and the Lord would say to the Pastor, “Pay attention, Pay attention, Pay attention.” Pay attention denotes "To watch, listen to, or think about something or someone carefully or with interest." The senses are being dulled. The attack on your marriage was not the death blow it was to expose you to a greater attack; it was for you to let your guard down and expose your vital organs/weaknesses. It was the Trojan horse. Someone around you whom you trust immensely will be the portal from which the enemy will gain access. Pay attention to your alliances and connections. This person’s motives and intentions are not bad they are just not discerning or are they equipped for battle. Be discerning and trust the spirit of God in you!"
Unfortunately, this pastor is no longer in ministry, is divorced, and is now a Black Israelite who completely renounced the Christian faith.
