In the midst of unprecedented events, God is still God. God knows those who are His and has opened a door of advancement. Being marked by God gives you the advantage. In my prayer time, the Holy Spirit gave me the five keys below to help you take advantage of this season and come out ahead of the game.
Although this is a great time for the church, I want to acknowledge those who have been touched by this virus and pray that God will bring peace, healing, and wholeness.
PRAY IN THE SPIRIT
Romans 8:26 says “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession [a]for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
Pray with divine assistance, pray by the guidance and the leading of the Spirit, pray in the power of the spirit and pray the will of the Father.
UNDERSTAND THIS IS A SEASON OF REDEMPTION AND THE REVERSAL OF FORTUNE
To redeem the time means to buy back and to regain possession over it. This is a season of supernatural do-overs. Ephesians 5:16 says, “make the most of every opportunity.” Prophet Leonard Ravenhill quoted, “The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized in the lifetime of the opportunity.”
Below are the elements of apprehending and maximizing your season.
Pay attention to how you are living
Be filled with the Spirit
Understand what the will of the Lord is for your life
Giving thanks in everything.
Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom
DON’T BE MOVED
There was deep darkness in Egypt during the ninth plague for three days It was so dark they could feel it (Exodus 10:21-23). There was no insight, no clarity or revelation. Although it was dark in Egypt it was light in Goshen. God’s people are always provided for. This pandemic is night based on status, economics, or race. We are protected because we are MARKED.
PLAN AHEAD
Strategic planning and time management are a must if you are going to be successful. Make this an opportunity to do the following
Tackle your to-do list
Re-evaluate your goals
Re-evaluate where you are (Spiritually, emotionally, professionally, geographically, relationally, physically)
RENEW YOUR MIND TO THE WORD OF GOD
The condition of your mind determines the altitude in which you soar. Eagles fly high because they know they can. Satan’s number one tactic is to mentally torment and harass God’s people.
1 Peter 1:13 says, ” Therefore having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober-minded, set your hope fully upon the grace being brought to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ. This passage encourages us to prepare your mind for action, exercise self-control, put your hope in Christ, be obedient and live Holy.
