I am writing with a heavy heart as a result of recent events. There is so much going on in the world that it is weighing on the hearts and spirits of God’s people who are truly engaged in society. But as difficult as the events have been, we all still have a post to man. What is God telling you to do right now? Sometimes your part is to stay alert so the spirit of God can use you right where you are at.
I am deeply emotionally occupied with the racial tension and all the people that have been affected by COVID19 but my post is to continue to encourage the prophets, bring healing and be available for intercession at a moment’s notice; whether that be through a prophetic word, blog post or video. I also want to encourage you that every prophetic word spoken over your life for 2020 is still hanging in the balance and God is going to do what He said as you war with the word that has been spoken. Do not let the enemy deceive you into thinking anything different. God is faithful to His word and His promise.
What does it mean to man your post? Manning your post is military jargon which signifies where you have been positioned on guard watching and waiting for enemy encroachment. This consequently signifies stay where you have been placed to cover, watch, and be ready to retaliate. Every assignment in the Kingdom is crucial in this hour. An unmanned post leaves people who are assigned to your watch open to enemy assault. God told Ezekiel (33:7), “Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel; so, you will hear a message from My mouth and give them warning from Me.” It is important that you are diligent in the area that God has called you whether you feel like you are making a difference or not. Purpose-driven work always counts and matters.
