Environment is everything! The psalmist wrote in Psalms 22:3 that, “God is enthroned (takes up residence) in the praises of His people.” The discipline of praise and worship in the life of a believer gives us the power everyday to shift the environment around us and allows God’s miraculous power to operate at peak performance. As the year rolls to a close we instinctively start re-evaluating our lives. My revaluation is environment which includes our own personal space and the people we give access to our lives. I am now asking myself the most important questions; does the environment around me allow me to fulfill my divine destiny and is it conducive for personal growth. Since God by His divine power has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness… (2 Peter 1:3) and the power to get wealth that confirms his covenant (Deuteronomy 8:18) then the success and progressive advancement of 2013 is based on position and environment.
